I am surprised no one has commented on that. I love the whole hair imagery. The entire song reminds me of Carrie Bradley's songs when she was in Ed's Redeeming Qualities (before she went to the Breeders and 100 Watt Smile). I doubt you have heard of them before, but they were a type of surreal garage folk band.

That acoustic, and the tune in general. I really like the lyrical irony you have going on, and the chords sound real nice in this tune also. Frustration with writer's block made you write this? Talk about turning things around, it's like lyrical Akido.
Yay the acoustic lead that starts around 350, in a couple of panned layers is a great musical suprise.
How cool! I been missin' out not listening to this until now.
